I believe the above post is just SPAM, (so I removed the affiliate links to the sites mentioned) but the sentiment is one I hear often.

People in search of the "best diet" are doomed from the start.

Diets do NOT work. What does work is making lifestyle changes that you can live with.

The only thing that works is eating a healthy, balanced and varied diet (limiting processed foods and foods that are very dense in calories and fats), getting plenty of liquids and exercising regularly.

THAT works and is really the only thing that works. Going on a restrictive calorie diet for a short period of time, only to return to bad eating habits later will INCREASE your ability to gain and retain excess body fat.

It's a bit more complex than that, but that is the heart of the solution-- the rest is just detail.

I've been trying to lose weight for years. Actually I have over and over again. It gets old. :( I'm going to try another diet plan, but I'm not sure which one. Have any of you tried the Every Other Day Diet or the Diet Solution Program? If so, how did it work for you?
